The History of Paris

It was towards the end in the 3rd century BC when the Celtic Gaul tribes founded Paris. The city got its name through the settlers who were identified as the Parisii.
This romantic metropolis was taken over from the well-known Roman emperor Julius Caesar in the course of the 52 BC.
